Goal of the Afternoon: Finalize the Co-Analysis

The afternoon is dedicated to deepening the analysis of the interview data and translating insights into actionable opportunities. This involves a detailed examination of the data related to the three main actors identified during the interviews.

DEEP ANALYSIS: SECOND ROUND

  1. Group-Based Analysis:
  2. Color-Coded Fact Gathering:
  3. Defining Opportunities:
  4. Creating Actionable Insights:

Turning Insights Stories into HMWs

  1. Identify Core Challenges: From each Event Insight story, identify the core challenge or need that it represents.
  2. Reframe as Questions: Transform these challenges into open-ended questions starting with “How might we...”. This rephrasing turns problems into potential areas for innovation.
  3. Focus on Possibilities: Ensure that the HMW questions are broad enough to allow for a wide range of solutions, yet specific enough to address the core challenge identified.

Key Considerations for Finalizing Co-Analysis

By the end of the afternoon, the team should have a set of clearly defined HMW questions based on deeply analyzed user insights. These HMW questions will serve as a springboard for the ideation and solution development phases of the project, directing the focus towards user-centered innovation and problem-solving.
